Multifactor Authentication Troubleshooting

The multifactor authentication (MFA) solution provides enhanced security to the Express Pay system, as well as addressing regulatory requirements for stronger methods of user authentication.

The sign-on process may seem confusing at first glance, but by following a few simple steps, the MFA solution should become nearly transparent.

Tip#1 RECEIVING YOUR ONE-TIME SECURITY CODE:
A. Before you click on Send One-Time Code, please verify the Email Address that the code will be sent to. If the email address is not correct, contact the credit union to receive your one-time code.
B. It is very important that when you are selecting to receive your one-time security code that you DO NOT CLOSE YOUR ACTIVE BROWSER. Instead, minimize your current window and open a new browser window to retrieve the emailed security code.

Tip#2 JUNK OR SPAM FILTERING: The one-time security code will be sent from MYCUServices. This email may be filtered into your junk inbox, or possibly be sent through the SPAM filter. If you are unable to receive your one-time security code, follow the instructions on the right-side of the Express Pay page "Did Not Receive One-Time Security Code".

Tip#3 TRUST THIS COMPUTER: If you are working from a trusted computer, we recommend selecting Trust This Computer. With this selection, you will not be prompted with the one-time security code on future logins from that trusted PC.

Tip#4 REGISTRATION OF TRUSTED COMPUTER IS NOT WORKING: Challenges for the one-time security code will occur if you login using a different computer, browser, User ID or Nickname, if cookies are deleted or any significant changes are made to your computer.
